Quality management system

The quality management system (internal quality assurance system) of DTEU (initial certification on December 18, 2009) complies with the requirements of DSTU ISO 9001 and covers all processes related to the provision of services in the field of educational and scientific activities, with the aim of maintaining a high standard of education Service provision.

The effectiveness of the functioning of the DTEU quality management system (system for ensuring the quality of educational activities and higher education) is reviewed annually by representatives of the national certification body (SE "Ukrmetrteststandard") within the framework of the project.Conduct an assessment

Representatives of SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" conducted a recertification audit of DTEU EMS on December 5-6, 2022, covering whether the activities comply with the requirements of DSTU ISO 9001:2015 and directions for further improvements.

The work arrangement of all inspection units of the university was highly appreciated by the auditors of the national certification body, which became the basis for the positive conclusion and the issuance of a new certificate for the DTEU quality management system until 2026. .

The Quality Management System (QMS) of DTEU provides for the implementation of the following procedures and measures (in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education"):

  • Determine principles and procedures for ensuring quality in higher education;
  • Monitoring and periodic review of implementation of education plans;
  • Conduct annual evaluations of applicants for higher education, science and education, and publish the results regularly;
  • ensuring advanced training of scientific and educational personnel;
  • Ensure that each educational program is provided with the necessary resources required to organize the educational process, including independent work of applicants for higher education;
  • Ensure the availability of information systems to effectively manage the educational process;
  • Ensure open access to information about educational programmes, higher education degrees and qualifications;
  • Ensure that effective systems are in place to prevent and detect academic plagiarism in the scientific works of DTEU scientists and educators and higher education students;
  • Other procedures and measures.

The Rector and, on his behalf, the Head of DTEU EDUC are responsible for the operation and continuous improvement of DTEU EDUC.

The Vice-President, Head of Department, Deans of Departments, Heads of Departments, Heads of Professional Support Groups, Educational Program Sponsors and Authorised Personnel are responsible for the QMS process and the activities within the process.

Personnel responsible for the quality management system processes and activities within the processes are accountable to the DTEU Quality Management System Manager to ensure the effective operation and continual improvement of the quality management system. The DTEU SUY Head is subordinate to and directly responsible to the DTEU President.

Ensuring the quality of DTEU's educational activities and higher education is based on the following principles:

  • Oriented towards meeting the requirements and expectations of service customers in the field of educational and scientific activities;
  • Risk management;
  • leadership by managers;
  • Employee engagement;
  • Process approach;
  • Continuous improvement;
  • The effectiveness of decision making based on complete and objective information analysis;
  • Relationship management.

DTEU EMS documents are divided into 5 levels:

  • Quality policy and quality objectives.
  • Quality standards.
  • DTEU regulations, QMS procedures documented in the form of an annex to the quality guidelines, organizational and administrative documents – regulations, directives, system documents, activity area plans, orders, decrees, etc.
  • Foreign regulatory filings regarding DTEU activities.
  • Records that document the results of activities within the QMS processes.

Educational planning is at the core of DTEU's mission related to the educational process, ensuring that its content meets the needs of society (students, employers and the state).

The educational process and educational programs of DTEU focus on motivating those seeking higher education and involving them in improving the educational process.

A unique feature is that DTEU sets higher education standards for all professions and specialisms at primary, first, second and third level higher education, based on the National Qualifications Framework, which includes the following sections: Educational programmes; Curriculum; Building higher education Requirements for internal quality assurance systems; requirements for professional standards (if any); additional requirements (if necessary); procedures for developing and introducing educational programs; preparation for accreditation of educational programs; features of foreign language teaching educational program development; requirements for higher education standards List of normative documents on which the application is based.

The standards developed are used to determine and evaluate the quality of the content and results of university educational activities.

DTEU evaluates the educational, scientific, innovative and other achievements of participants in the educational process, in particular:

SUYA DTEU ensures that all resources for organizing the educational process according to the objectives of the quality area are open and informs students about the availability of relevant services.

The creation of a single information space for DTEU ensures efficient management of the educational process.

Ensure open access to information about educational programs, higher education degrees and qualifications: on the DTEU official and corporate websites, in E-kapmus, through the distance learning system, ECTS information packages, educational programs, curriculum, and ensure that all components of the educational process are All parts must be published in accordance with Ukraine's "Education Law", "Higher Education Law" and "Law on Access to Public Information".
